Practice Makes Perfect: A Random Musical Journey

The whole movie has a soundtrack of classical music

Scene One:

A black screen roles the credits. The credits are opened with the sound of various instruments being tuned up, practicing for a concert. The sounds of all different instruments are heard clearly, to make absolutely sure that this is a warm up and not a song.

The conductor uses his wand to hit the podium as if the show were going to begin.

Scene Two:

Everything is silent and the title comes up in an odyssey type of way. Very slowly and awesome.

First the words Practice Makes Perfect appear then the A Random Musical Journey follows. In the background there is a picture of a tambourine floating in the universe with wings on it.

Scene Three:

The story begins with a teacher who is handing out instruments. Each student is sitting in their chairs in a classroom waiting for their assigned instrument. This is happening very slowly, and she is speaking to them as they get their instruments. They are not heard because, well, this film is silent.

A student is shown getting a Saxophone.

A student is shown getting a Clarinet.

A student is shown getting a set of Drum Sticks.

All of these students are elated about their new found toys. They play with them and fondle them.

The teacher calls a boy up and gives him a Tambourine, and he looks at her as if the world just ended. He is not at all happy about this assignment. He sits down in his seat and gets angry.

Scene Four:

Each of the students is shown practicing diligently on their instruments.

Good music is played for this.

Scene Five:

The boy is seen looking at the tambourine with much contempt. He looks at it for a few seconds and decides that he is better then it and puts it down. The tambourine is seen sitting on the desk/counter/night stand, of the boy. The camera focuses on it and then dreadful foreboding music is played.

Scene Six:

The boy is seen playing soccer/basketball with his friends. Fun teen music is played.

Scene Seven:

Quickly goes back to tambourine on desk. Foreboding music

Scene Eight:

The boy is seen playing sports again. Fun music is heard.

Scene Nine:

Quickly goes to tambourine on desk. Foreboding music

Scene Ten:

This continues until the moments become like snap shots going back and forth and the music is only one note. As if the scenes were fighting.

Scene Eleven:

All the people who were practicing are getting dressed, there are very excited and are cleaning their instruments, getting ready for the concert.

Scene Twelve:

The boy throws on a shirt that says some ridiculous unnecessary slogan on it or comment like "if animals werent meant to be eaten why were they made out of meat?" or "I eat bugs" He grabs his tambourine and leaves the house.

Scene Thirteen:

The conductor picks up his wand and all the musicians pick up their instruments getting ready to play. He begins to conduct and all the kids play their instruments. Tambourine boy is of to the right looking very nervous. All of the other people look confident. The camera focuses in on tambourine boy and he is sweating profusely. The shot is right in his face and droplets of sweat are rolling down his face. His eyes are going back and forth quickly. He is very very nervous because he doesnt know how to play his part. He gets so frusturated that he throws down the tambourine. The entire audience looks at him and the conductor stops as well as all of the other musicians. The camera focuses on all of their expressions of shock and bewilderment as to what this person is doing. The tambourine is on the floor and the boy looks out into the audience embarrassed. He runs of stage, but before he does that he hits the drum so he can make one last frustrated pounding. The conductor shrugs, picks up his wand, and the concert resumes.

Scene Fourteen:

The boy is seen running outside. From a long distance away, very dramatically. Running and running. He stops falls to his knees and the camera is circled around him as his lips scream WHY GOD WHY! An angel appears out of the sky and it is a very black man who is in white SHORT shorts a boa and high heels, there are wings behind him. He is wearing a very tiny shirt that shows his midriff that says 110 % Angel. He helps him off his knees.

You see the boy say GOD?

He points to the wings and shirt, motions no. Implying that hes an angel.

The angel smiles shakes his head. There is a second of sweetness and then he bitch slaps him in the face. Boy looks at him then boy touches his face. He looks at his hand after touching his face, the way people do after getting hit in the face.

He looks up and the Angel is gone and left a note on the side walk/ or building wall, right in front of him he looks at it and the audience is allowed to read it. It says

HUNNY, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, so you bests start practicing again before you go shoutin out the almightys name in vain asking for help and what not. I do not like makin these personal calls down here because little boys like you are so unappreciative, I have got betta things to do. Next, time if you disrupt me while I am puttin on my make up, for no good reason, I promise you that you WILL be missing a testicle. You might as well kill yourself if you are going to be so useless to this world.

Much Love,

Taquanda, the angel.

PS. Hope to see you soon.

The boy looks around again in shock and comes up with an idea. He runs home. The scene fades away and the camera fades watching him run into the distance.

Scene Fifteen:

In the background it says,

"I am useless, Taquanda said so. I want to live a life in heaven with all the other drag angels."

And the camera zooms out to see the boys feet up to his hands hanging. Hes got flamboyant heels on. And normal slacks on with them.

Scene Sixteen:

The credits roll and you see Taquanda singing with others on stage. Then they part and the boy comes out in a ridiculously amazing outfit with a Mic. in his hand. The screen goes black. The rest of the credits roll.
