This transparency is lucid

and its driving me to tears.

This game has grown far heavy

thrusting low my form with weight,

I meditate, in serenity

with awful, vacant fears.

How can you continue through this

wretched state of risk?

You have tried to conquer all

but somethings is amiss.

Remember me while struggling to win

Im seamlessly your princess.

I dont know where youve gone

or if youre ever coming back.

All my men are spread to thin

and my world is fading fast.

Pretending is digging my grave

and my bodys hallowed just the same.

If this world that weve createds killing us,

why do we play this game?

Youre eyes Ive seen, like anyones

a searching simple soul strolling on the street.

But youre brown eyes meet mine for tea

and exalt for some assistance.

You cant do it on your own,

though youll try to tally ho.

Those sweet lips too gently part

unveiling a path past your facade.

Stop torturing yourself, in chase,

to win a game that isnt real.

Feel, the world is right in front of you

please dont let this waste.

I dont know where youve gone

or if youre ever coming back.

All my men are spread to thin

and my world is fading fast.

Pretending is digging my grave

and my bodys hallowed just the same.

If this world that weve createds killing us,

why do we play this game?

Youre fear of being hurt has lead

to more then lack of wanting.

You wont let me touch a finger tip or cheek

because all that hiding out

has hindered your abilities to speak.

Those men made from a plastic mold,

by which the rules have said to lead them.

But my heart is made from more then that

and I need for you to leave them.

Those little figurines cant be what youve chosen

we are not machines,

I am not a game with rules, how am Im losing?

I dont know where youve gone

or if youre ever coming back.

All my men are spread to thin

and my world is fading fast.

Pretending is digging my grave

and my bodys hallowed just the same.

If this world that weve createds killing us,

why do we play this game?

Im too tired to watch you battle

Too exhausted to give a fight.

The effort is no longer there.

Stop pretending that you care

My eyes, and lips are dead to you

and im left alone in hell.

The board has lost its dice

All the men have been at battle.

Bruised, beaten, their leader led them wrong

their hopes have all been rattled.

Dont push and act with ease.

Dont lie and cheat to win,

Turn to me, I promise, I will not hurt you

I see the beauty thats within.

I dont know where youve gone

or if youre ever coming back.

All my men are spread to thin

and my world is fading fast.

Pretending is digging my grave

and my bodys hallowed just the same.

If this world that weve createds killing us,

why do we play this game?
